Youth Affairs Unit Services

The East Greenbush Police Department's Youth Affairs Unit is comprised of a Juvenile Detective and a School Resource Officer. Members of this unit handle all juvenile and youth related matters within the Town of East Greenbush and the East Greenbush Central School District town schools. There is (1) full-time School Resource Officer, that maintains an office at the Columbia High School.

The East Greenbush Police Department will provide free of charge firearm safety locks to East Greenbush Town Residents. A small form to fill out is available at the Police Station, or go to Forms on our website, print and fill out the form. Bring your completed form to us. The East Greenbush Police Department has partnered with Project Child Safe, a nationwide firearms safety education program to offer these locks to help residents safely store and secure their firearms.
